Perkinspiredflix Makes Kaibigan Series Available Free to Schools and Government Institutions

Christian production company offers the faith-based series as a resource addressing challenges faced by Filipino youth and families.

Perkinspiredflix, a Christian production company dedicated to creating inspiring and family-friendly entertainment, is making the Kaibigan Series available for free screenings at schools and government institutions throughout the Philippines.

The series continues the story of the characters introduced in the life-changing Kaibigan movie, which featured Jess Perkins, Christian Perkins, Cesar Montano, Tirso Cruz, Jean Garcia, Lani Mercado, Boots Anson Roa, Emmanuelle Vera, Janina Vela and Stephen Baldwin.

In Kaibigan Series, the high school friends find themselves separated during lockdown and are only able to communicate through Zoom. As they face quarantine and the difficulties that come with it, the characters must navigate personal, emotional and social challenges affecting their friendships, families and futures.

The series stars Jesse Perkins, Janina Vela, Christian Perkins and Lianne Valentin. Manny Paksiw, Benson Dalina, Giovanni Baldisseri and Venus Raj expand their roles from the original Kaibigan movie. The cast also includes Dindo Arroyo, James Wright, RJ de la Fuente, Joyce Santos, Pam Arambulo and Ace Vergel Malabagl.

The Philippines continues to face serious challenges affecting young people, schools, barangays and families, including bullying, drug and alcohol abuse, teenage pregnancy and difficulties within the family. Perkinspiredflix believes the Kaibigan Series can serve as a meaningful educational and discussion resource for young people, parents, educators and community leaders.
